Friday, a tragic hit-and-run motorcycle accident occurred in Colorado Springs at around 10 P.M.

According to reports, a 19-year old soldier was riding a motorcycle with two friends on another motorcycle on Rangewood Drive when the accident happened.  As the motorcycles were traveling south, a metallic green sedan turned left in front of them.  Both motorcycles crashed into the passenger side of the van.  The driver of the sedan fled the scene of the accident.

All three motorcyclists were taken to a nearby hospital.  The soldier later passed away from the injuries he incurred in the motorcycle accident.
