1 killed, 3 injured in accident in Aurora

This past Saturday, 1 person was killed and 3 others were injured in a car accident in Aurora.  Police suspect the driver who caused the accident was driving drunk.

The fatal car accident occurred at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Iliff Avenue at around 12:30 a.m.  According to the Aurora police, a suspected drunk driver traveling westbound on Iliff drove through a red light at the intersection at a high speed and struck the side of a vehicle traveling southbound on Havana.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit was killed in the accident.  A passenger in the same vehicle and 2 passengers in the other vehicle suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized.
