Last Friday, 10 children were injured after a passenger car collided with a school bus in Denver. According to a Denver Fire Department spokesperson, the accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at Emporia Street and Iliff Avenue.
The bus was taking children home from Kent Denver School. 33 students were riding the bus when the accident happened.
The accident occurred when a woman’s car struck the school bus at the intersection. Officials were unsure of which driver caused the accident and closed the intersection for investigations.
10 children on the school bus were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
