The 10 Most Accident Prone Cars
An accident can happen at any time in Colorado and to anyone. It rarely depends on the type of car you drive – or at least that’s what we thought. A recent study found that there are indeed some accident prone cars that seem to be worse than others. In fact, there are 10 cars that are most likely to have been in an accident. This is a list you may want to keep in mind the next time you are out car shopping.
- BMW 4 series – according to reports, the BMW 4 series is the most likely to car to have been in an accident. In fact, 11.5% of them were reported in accidents and 7% were involved in unreported accidents.
- BMW X1 – this crossover was involved in numerous accidents as well. In fact, 12.7% were involved in reported accidents and 5.3% in unreported accidents.
- Land Rover Range Rover Evoque – 10.9% of all Land Rovers were involved in reported accidents and 5.6% in unreported accidents.
- Jaguar XJ – surprisingly, this British car is the only one on the list with 8.2% being involved in reported accidents and 7.5% involved in unreported ones.
- Infiniti JX – This car still shows up on accident reports quite frequently, even though it no longer is being manufactured. In fact, it also gets into frequent accidents – 9.3% were involved in reported accidents and 5.4% were involved in unreported accidents.
- Lexus RX 350 – This crossover was involved in numerous accidents as well. In fact, 10.5% of them were involved in reported accidents and 3.8% in unreported accidents.

No matter what type of car you drive, however, accidents can still occur. When they do it is important to know all of your legal rights. Unfortunately, without an experienced lawyer on your side, you may find that collecting that compensation is an uphill battle.
