Target Corporation has announced an expanded recall of Circo Child Booster Seats sold in Target stores across the country from 2005 to 2009. The booster seats are made of a blue plastic with green trim and a white restraint belt buckle. The name of the product is featured on a green label on the front of the seats.
The recall includes about 375,000 children’s booster seats. Target executives issued the voluntary recall with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission after receiving 10 reports of the booster seats’ safety belt buckles unexpectedly opening. When this happens, the child is at risk of falling out of the seat. 3 of the reports involved a child falling from the seats, onto a table or the floor, and suffering bruising.
