Colorodo Department of Transportation giving away bridge

The Dotsero Bridge, which runs across the Colorado River in Dotsero, is free to anyone who can submit an adequate plan to relocate it.

The bridge was built in 1935 and spans a total of 150 feet. The Colorado Department of Transportation says the bridge could be easily restructured to be used as a pedestrian bridge.

The Dostero Bridge does not meet current safety standards, and it contains lead paint. Anyone who takes the bridge will need to remove this dangerous substance, especially if it will be used by pedestrians. Prolonged exposure to lead paint is toxic to humans.

If you have been exposed to lead paint, contact the Denver lead paint poisoning attorneys of Hull & Zimmerman, P.C., by calling (303) 423-1770.
