Dog owner to pay $1,200 after third dog bite incident

A Colorado Springs woman is being asked to pay $1,200 or have her dogs put down after a recent dog bite incident.  The woman owns an American bulldog named Likor and a boxer mix named Patches.  Animal control seized the dogs after a little girl was recently attacked in the woman’s front yard.

The girl entered the woman’s yard to sell candy.  The two dogs saw the girl, broke through the home’s storm door, and bit her.  According to the Human Society, the young girl was bit on the back of her leg and on the wrist.  There was no blood but she did need medical attention after the attack.

Previously, the dogs were involved in another incident that left a different child with severe dog bite injuries.
