Estes Park vehicular accident claims life of little girl

The circumstances surrounding the vehicular accident that led to the death of a two-year-old girl in Estes Park, Denver is being investigated by the Estes Park Police Department. According to the police, initial investigation revealed that the crash happened at about 10:53 a.m. on Sunday, July 28 in a parking lot at 501 Big Thompson Avenue.

Police officers responded to the scene of the crime to find that the child had sustained life-threatening injuries. The girl was rushed to the hospital, but she later died due to the gravity of her wounds.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the little girl was a 43-year-old Lafayette woman.

Police did not release the names of the people involved in the crash. Charges will be filed by the district attorney’s office.
