Two people were injured after a rollover accident on Interstate 76 at 8 a.m., when an F350 was pulling a trailer and the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
The 74-year-old man then went off of the left side of the road and tried to over correct to get the vehicle back on the road. This caused the trailer to detach and roll into the center median.
The truck then continued to the right side of the road where it flipped and rolled over before coming to a rest on the passenger side. Both the driver and passenger were seat belted at the time, but still suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital as a result. The local fire department and Colorado State Patrol were at the scene of the accident.
